Hi all, Firstly let me apologise for the delay in updating my web page ,I have been very busy doing a lot of other things ,some of which are club related and some that left me in limbo so enough of the excuses and on with the update. I hope that you the members are still enjoying the content of the Flexi Flier, as I said at the AGM last year its your magazine and you have to tell me what you want in it,on that subject may I say THANK YOU to all the members that have sent in articles and photos, they really have been very well received by the club and its members .As stated by me earlier in the Flier , the quality of photo will only be as good as the DPI of the original, I am led to believe that for a good reproduction of a photo the DPI has to be 1200 minimum but do not worry if its not as I am a great believer that anyone who has taken the time and trouble to send me stuff will get it published even if the photo is a 30 year old Polaroid (there has been one!!). So to tempt people that are surfing and wonder if this club is worth joining when was the last time that you had the chance to take your bike as a group with like minded people to Holland . The kettle Club has strong ties with the T+GT Club In Holland. This was our second year going to Europe and we were well received by their members ,a lot of fun was had by all and we had a great ride out with them to Hoorn(North Holland).As there is no real language barrier everybody got chatting very quickly about the bike we all love and a few other topics . I have enclosed a few of the photos that were taken and hopefully you will be able to see the atmosphere that we had over there. If you are wondering if its still worth joining try to get hold of a Flexi Flier to have a look at and hopefully the content will give you an idea of the people that are in this club and all the varied activities that we all get up to. As for the members I hope that you will still keep sending me in your articles and photos . The competition seems to be a success also please keep the words of encouragement coming because it makes me feel that you like how the Flexi Flier is put together. All the best. Mullet Ed. |
